THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF KAVALIER + CLAY
by Michael Chabon
A friend told me they liked this book and I thought I'd read it. It's heftier read for a university student with so much else to read but when I have the chance I delve into its genius and am sad when I have to come up for air in the real world. The writing paints out each scene with such grace. I'm a little in love and I'm only on part two soooo if it gets worse after part one then don't tell me (or maybe do?). Also I'm a little obsessed with Houdini and the art of escape right now- so if you throw me in a river chained up in a laundry bag I may not mind.
